This preparation is currently produced from two independently verified raw batches. Both are the same compound and both tested at the same purity, but one appears slightly lighter than the other. Visual difference comes from crystal size after recrystallisation, particle fineness and time in storage. It has no bearing on content, and the retention time on the chromatogram is identical.

Why this one

Convention rather than any property of the compound. The long ester is supplied at the higher concentration, which means a millilitre carries twice the drostanolone and the per 100 mg cost is lower.
