What Masteron is
Masteron is drostanolone, a DHT-derived injectable. It does not aromatise, and it goes further than that by acting as a mild aromatase inhibitor in its own right, which is the basis of its anti-oestrogenic reputation. It is supplied attached to one of two esters, and the ester is the only meaningful difference between the two products.

The detail
Because it is DHT derived it cannot convert to oestrogen, so it carries no water. That is what produces the dense, dry appearance the compound is known for, and it is why Masteron appears in lean-phase contexts rather than mass-gaining ones. The hardening effect is a consequence of the absence of water rather than an effect on muscle tissue itself.

Yes. Drostanolone is the chemical name and Masteron the original brand. Both esters, propionate and enanthate, carry the same drostanolone.
What is the difference between Masteron enanthate and propionate?
The ester, and nothing else. Propionate releases over roughly 2 to 3 days and is supplied at 100 mg/ml; enanthate releases over roughly 4.5 days and is supplied at 200 mg/ml. The compound delivered is identical drostanolone.
